How iRest Yoga Nidra Works
Yoga Nidra iRest is integrative, in that it heals the various unresolved issues, traumas and wounds that are present in the body and mind. It is restorative in that it aids its practitioners in recognising their underlying peace of mind that is always present amidst all changing circumstances of life.
Yoga Nidra iRest is typically taught as a guided meditation supporting time to reflect, allow and welcome everything that arises and changes as it unfolds moment to moment in our field of awareness.
When this happens, we become the observer not the doer. We become the one watching movements that come as distractions and we are able to recognise the fullness and constancy of who we truly are, beyond the limits of distraction.
Yoga Nidra iRest is a practice of embracing willingness to allow what life presents with all it’s daily challenges. Challenges that manifest as suffering and pain in a world of duality.
