Yoga Nidra Retreat with Kathryn 2019
Molino del Rey an exotic Sanctuary for the Soul, with natural springs, superb organic vegetarian cuisine and a gorgeous yoga shala.
This retreat is designed by Anthony Arnold and runs with the support of his family in the tiny hamlet of Jorox, an old Moorish settlement carved into the rocks in the Nature Park of Sierra de las Nieves and surrounded by lush gardens irrigated with the refreshing sound of bubbling water straight from mountain streams. Water so pure, hair and skin never felt so good.
Early September is a lovely time to visit the mountains in Southern Spain, not so hot as as the high season and still a lot warmer than the UK.
Plenty of hideaways to write, read or recline in a hammock under a shady parasol or laze in a recliner in the garden by the salt water pool.
Comfortable beds with ensuite accommodation, hairdryer, kettle. Shared twins, two double suites or single occupancy for a daily supplement.
Refresh and renew with a six day Yoga Nidra Retreat. Includes an optional programme of two yoga and meditation sessions a day in the most beautiful light and airy studio you may ever encounter. Or take time to discover the waterfall in the mountains, local Spanish bar or visit Ronda with it’s bridge dating back to 1793. Retore, renew and pamper with a wide range of first class therapeutic massages brought to you daily on site, booked at reasonable prices.
Superb freshly prepared local cuisine, full vegetarian menu, excellent puddings. If you like wine with you meal then enjoy the local offerings. You will never go hungry on this retreat.
A unique opportunity to have a laid back experience with a Yoga Nidra Retreat. Come, take the time you always promised your Self. Come alone, bring a friend, partner or a good book! Embrace the silence or enjoy creating community with like minds.

The yoga was just right – a perfect balance of the physical with the spiritual. What a beautiful place you found – so relaxing and delicious food! We all got on so well and had fun. I returned relaxed and invigorated. Thank you for caring Kathryn and long may your classes continue.
A million and more THANKS for organising the Molino week. It really was an interlude of peace in my busy life. Your energy was amazing, your classes deeply restorative, spiritual and fun, you were teacher, confident, friend and charming hostess to all of us.
My overall lasting impressions, straight from my daily journal were the Yoga Classes, the Buddha in the cave in the Yoga Hall, your presence, the silence before class, the streaming light in the Yoga Hall, the friendliness of all, the tumbling water, sunshine and sky, the light, the caves and rocks, incredible food, steps to everywhere, 54 from my room to the dining hall! The colours and the paintings and beautiful Buddhas everywhere one looked. Thank you so much.
We had a beautiful room with a wonderful view from the balcony across the valley. Best of all were the 9 yoga sessions – each one different and guided by Kathryn’s very special knowledge, care, attention and sense of fun
Molino del Rey is a unique place with unique owners who looked after us all brilliantly, and provided delicious vegetarian cuisine cooked by two different in-house Chefs. We had lots of time to get to know new friends and go for companionable walks. Thank you for a memorable retreat, we shall definitely come again.
